Pirates is a social raiding guild. Our aim is to have fun while conquering all SWTOR raid content.
The guilds main focus will be progressive raiding and we reserve the right as a raiding guild to keep all (Operations) raids within the guild and therefore we will not tolerate pug lockouts from our guild raid members.
The guild raid times are 19.00 GMT and will not be longer than 3 hours in duration.
The guild raid week starts from the Wednesday reset. We will raid Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, Monday. (Friday, Saturday and Tuesday) are non-compulsory raid days).
All raiders must check the raid program for raid events and to see what content the guild has planned. All raiders must sign as accept or decline at least 48 hours before the raid is due to commence. Raid confirmation is made 24 hours before the raid (day before).
The guild has a 2 x raid per week minimum acceptance for guild members. Guildies (those who wish to raid - not socials) who persistently fail to accept or decline the raids, or show no interest in raiding will be demoted or removed from the guild.
Replacements for absent raiders will come from 'casual' guild players or PUG. This will be class specific so alts may get to raid over mains. Please don't whine about this.
Try and be on time for the raid 30 minutes before the 19:00hr start time. Invites start at 18.30 GMT. 15 minutes prior to start time everyone should be online and in the raid group, and EVERYONE should be stepping into the instance on the hour. If you know you will be late for a raid inform one of the guild officers. Persistent AFK-DCrs in a raid will be replaced and locked out for the nights raid.
Come to the raids prepared. Ensure you are fully repaired and ready to go with enough consumable buffs for the 3 hour raid. Ensure your raid template and gear is up-to-date: If in doubt, ask!!
Familiarise yourself with all boss tactics by doing online research beforehand. You can find useful guides within the guild website forums along with many sites such as: 'to be announced'
There is no excuse for not knowing the mechanics of a boss fight; there will only be a short brief before each encounter.
It is a guild requirement for all Pirates to have installed a boss mod like: 'to be announced'
Teamspeak-3
You will be dropped from guild raids if you do not have these add-ons.
Loots:
The guild does not operate a dkp at this time. We base our loot distribution on trust and friendship. We simply use need, greed, pass.
Pirates is a social raiding guild; meaning we raid for the enjoyment and have fun while progressing as a team. If you feel we are asking too much from you or you cannot abide by the raid rules then this guild is not for you.
If you have any problems with the Pirates raid rules please contact the guild leader and he will be happy to help you with your issues.
